Ahh, Don't Hit Me!

For those of you who still read this blog, I wanted to apologize for the significant lack in posting of artwork, as well as the absence of posting all together. I know it may seem hard to believe, but I do have a good reason. I no longer have a scanner, the camera memory card is full of my dad's pictures.

Moreover, my school has taken a large chunk out of my normal brain activities.

I'll keep you updated. I promise I'll have something by the end of the week. Just read this

Busy Day!

So I had a most interesting day at work. When I went on break, which lasts a whole of ten minutes, I figured I'd run to the CVS and get food to ease my starvation. When I got there, They didn't have what I wanted, so I looked for something similar. The closest I could find was this weird hamburger stew by Cambel's. So I go up to the counter to check out, and this lady pulls up in front of me with this massively full shopping cart. She has like a million Bowl-a-petites in there and a million bags of cat food. So I stand in line behind her, and I'm getting nervous because my break is only ten minutes, and I still need to get over to the dollar store, heat my food, and inhale it, all it time to get back onto register before the closing rush.

Well, another employee opens another register and takes the little old lady in front of me, who took about a billion years checking out because she had no clue that half the stuff she got was buy one get one free. So he finally finishes with her, and by the time he can take me, I had three minutes of my break left. So after fumbling half my wallet all over his counter, I ran to the dollar store break room and started opening my stew. Well, it had one of those tab lids, like spam cans, once I had it about open, the broth started to cover the park of the lid that was still attached to the can. So I figured if I was really careful, I could get it off without making a mess... HA!

It exploded all over me and the break room, it's like dripping off the end of my nose, and all over my clothes.. So the last thirty seconds of my break was spent wiping down the break room, as well as myself. So I threw it in the microwave to heat while I cleaned, then I inhaled about half of it before throwing it in the fridge and rushing the my register.

As soon as I got there, I looked down and realized that I have this massive river of stew running down my arm. So I started to panic, I turned to the manager and asked her to get me a wet paper towel. I guess she thought I was wiping down my register or something, because it was positively sopping, so I got water all over me, all over my clothes, and all over the floor.

About an hour later, the assistant manager was standing next to me and helping me bag. She kinda looks over at me and goes "Do I smell stew?"

I also just found out that my boss scheduled me on days I specifically requested off for, and we agreed that I wouldn't have to work on, before I was even hired. -_-

On the bright side, my sister's buying me a cell phone.

Sims2 and "Only Rip" Injuries

So guess what, we had a Youth Group activity yesterday. Guess who got three ribs knocked out of joint by a 300+ lbs person? You guessed it, Sean Connery! No, actually, it was me. -_-

Anyways, we were playing a game similar to baseball and Duane came around to third base, which I was guarding, and bowled right into me. At the time I figured I was just muddied and bruised, and possibly messed up my wrist. Don't you love how your body doesn't tell you you're injured until the next morning?

So I woke up and had trouble moving, skipped church and played Sims 2 while listening the the wicked awesome Ravi Zacharias via intarwebz (www.rzim.org), and moving at the speed of a tractor.

Anyways, I did manage to squeeze in some good pictures between injuries and teen activities. There aren't many, but still, enjoy.

Ye Olde Renaissance Faire!

I'm sorry I've been dead, Darthy and I decided it was time to update my wireless drivers, and in the process, we accidentally busted my laptop. Soooo... We finally got it up and running again. Did I mention we worked at Ren Faire last weekend? It was wicked rainy and bitter cold all of Saturday, and then Sunday, the day we weren't allowed to work, it was bright and sunny. -_-*

Anyways! I have some pictures, the picture of the lady in green was taken by Amber, the rest are by me. Enjoy! Eventually I'll get around to posting something better... >.> Who knows...

I'll prolly be either taking a digital photography course or a fantasy artwork course, I can't decide which I want. Any suggestions?

And my feet are wicked cold.... So with that, I'm gunna go get me some sockies...

Ever so Injured Bookworm

So, I was hoping on some photography today, it's such a lovely day. However, my parade's been rained on, I got a nasty knot in my back in a nasty nasty place, and it won't come out. So anyways, on account of not being able to breathe, no photography. There might be a sketch later... If I can put down The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan...

Kids...

So, semi normal Rip morning. Wake up, can't hear out of my right ear, my neck is both numb and on fire, right arm stopped working, etc. Nothing works right on me, normally it wears off, which it sort of did, just not all the way. Well I agreed to babysit my niece today, from 1:30 to 5:30.

Well, my sister's mother in law dropped her off at 12:30. So I took a screaming angry child and tried to put her down for a nap. The idea of dropping her off at 1:30 was so she would sleep through my 2:30 to 3:30 physical science class. Derr!

Well, I sat outside the door, listening to her scream for a half hour before she fell asleep.

I got into class on time, but at around 2:40 ish, she woke up and proceeded to scream bloody murder. So I went into my parent's room to let her out of the play pen. She wouldn't let me touch her. I pulled her out any way and took her out into the living room where I was watching class and checked her diaper, it was clean. Well, she ran around and screamed for twenty minutes. I checked the diaper again and it was quite full. When I tried to change it she proceeded to kick and scream and throw things. So I finally got it changed after ten minutes of wrestling poop and legs. and chasing her around the living room to get the stupid diaper on her.

So there went most of my class.

I sat back down at the laptop and tried to start participating. Did I mention we were having an extra credit day? I answered one question before she started throwing toys and screaming again. I went to go find out what was wrong, checked the diaper, asked her if she was thirsty or hungry, tried to give her her Elmo and Micky dolls. She continued to throw toys until she found her coat. She insisted on wearing this coat, so I let her.

Well, by the time I had gotten back to the laptop, class had finished. So I logged out and started working on homework. Meanwhile this child has managed to scribble out the notes for my mom's lesson plan for bible study for tomorrow, as well as an application I had for an art school.

So I handed her the house phone with the key lock on. The thing is, you can still call 911 with that on, so she did.

So I took the phone from her to talk to the EMS personnel and tell them what happened. Heaven forbid I take her toy! So she started to scream. -_- So much for a peaceful "Oh no, we're all fine!"

So the police showed up at my house and the dog all but mauled the poor guy's face off.

So I finally sat back down and she started to make the sign for eat at me. So I took her into the kitchen and went to take her jacket off. She threw herself on the floor and kicked and screamed. I had to wrestle the stupid coat off her so I could feed her dinner. Which she threw on the floor anyways.

So I took her out of the chair and moved back into the living room. Well, she meanders over to the door to my parent's room, which she's only allowed in for naps in a playpen. I told her no several times before walking over to lead her away from the door. Well, she made a break for it and tried to rush into the room, so I picked her up and carried her out.

I sat her down on the floor and closed the door and told her not to touch it and to go find something else to play with. Well, she made a break for the door again. I grabbed her hand to lead her away, but she managed to flail herself out of my hand and onto the floor, face first. When I went to check and see if she was ok she started to scream at me and slam her head on the floor. Then scream about how her head hurt.

No kidding!

I didn't want to touch her because all she would do is scream and flail, so I let her sit there until she subsided into simple shouts of protest and a few kicks. I went to check and see if she was ok, and she just kind of sat there. Then Daddy showed up to pick her up. All smiles and giggles!

I'm not doing any more baby sitting until the school year's up.

I'm going to go take a hot shower.

Ohiyo Gazai Masu

Translation: It's too dang early, why're you waking me up at 6:30 when I don't have a class for two hours? You freakin' moron!

Well, ok... 6:30 isn't realistic, it was more like 7:45, and my class s at 8:30... I'm just cranky.

So it actually just says good morning...

*sigh* anyways. Just getting the last of my repost out of the way. I might have a sketch later today. Someone's asked me to sketch their character for an RP at Realitys-Exile.com and I've been lazy and not gotten to it.

I have a job interview at four today, so I'm hopeful. They pay well, and it's within walking distance.

Dismembered Child Figures!

So I totally got a $40 Tripp skirt for $4 at a thrift store, how awesome is that? And, some crazy bloke left the heater on, so it's like 80F in the house, but like 40F outside. So I ran outside with short sleeves on expecting to roast like I did inside... Instead I froze.

Anyways... I have some pictures from Easter, one of them my mom actually took. It's the one of the little girl with the seemingly red Easter basket, picking up eggs. It's actually Elmo with bunny ears. Why anyone would want their kid to carry around a decapitated Elmo is beyond me but... Decapitated Elmo? HEYYYYYY!

errr...

I'm gunna get back to my homework...

Can anyone else see what's wrong with this orange juice?

Lotsa people at Easter Dinner. Not a seat was empty, we actually ran out of chairs.

I need a tripod... Like now.

Sowwy...

I'm really sorry about the dullness lately guys, but we've had some technical difficulties. I got my new laptop from the school only to find out it doesn't have a wireless card. I don't know about you guys, but I can't get online unless I have wireless, there's no where for me to plug in. I can't get tech to fix it until Tuesday because of Easter Break. So things are going to take longer to fix. I will be shutting the old site down as scheduled, but the reposts prolly won't be done for a while seeing as none of my files are on this laptop anymore. They're in a place I can only get if I have freakin' wireless so they're still waiting to be transfered from Masamune (Old lappy) to Musashi (New lappy)

Anyways, have a great day, and if you're bored, just read my writing blog.

Enjoy.

Good Morning Campers!

I hate mornings as much as I hate college cafs, however, it's a good dreary rainy day, so it's nice and pretty. I might get the chance to do some photography, but no promises. I've been house sitting with my sister and going to work with her. I pretty much just crash in the caf or the library and use the wireless for school... among other things... >_> Anyway, I'm going home tonight.

But anyways, I met this kid who was an exchange student in japan, the two of us were practicing our japanese. He's so much better then me, so I'm bringing my japanese origami book to see if he might be able to help me translate it. I gave up using a tourist dictionary ages ago...

Anyways, as follows, you have the starter, middle image, finished, then the tools. Enjoy, feedback is appreciated. And no, no reposts today. Rip is lazy... Maybe if I post some photography later today I might do a few reposts. Have a nice day!

New World!

Yeah, I'll get to the links and spiffy things later. For now I'm posting so you know this place exists and putting up some updates.

The reason I'm merging this and my art blog is on account of how seldom I post in my art blog and how often I previously posted on my blog at Xanga.com/lildragonfeirce which recently died due to how uncool xanga made itself because they're losers. *gasps at run on sentence.*

ANYWAY!

I recently went to New Jersey with my mom and some of her friends, I have some pictures, most of them are photography, and some are just silliness. I had some fun with my fellow ninja....

I'll have more sometime tomorrow I think. We'll see.
